Customer support from FatCow is crap. It took me a week to find out they don’t use the standard email ports for incoming or outgoing mail. It’s cheap for what you get but in my opinion paying slightly more per month for better support is a better idea. Everything else has been OK.
This is my first hosting I had tried. The up time was perfect actually never felt that my site had gone down. The control panel interface is user friendly. The add-ons like free easy to add WordPress blog, forums, google apps, etc are extra benefit to us, overall I would recommend Hosting24

Poor support and frequent downtime plagues FatCow web hosting. Support staff are unhelpful and are not willing to go the extra mile for customers. No doubt the worse host on CVS

Hostgator is without a doubt the largest web host on the planet. Hostgator support is fantastic but unfortunately, reports of downtime are frequent. We gave Hostgator a good score based on the service we received.
DreamHost scored average when we mystery shopped them. We found the service was OK but the support was lacking. In fact, we waited a while for our ticket to be answered.
Hosting24 is regarded as a well-respected web host based in Cyprus. Hosting24 consistently has good reviews from our users and scored well when we mystery shopped them in 2016.
